Confederate Corner

Who is the PA Confederate?

Yes there are Confederates north of the Mason-Dixon line, and George Neat is one of them. And we’re happy to bring his views to you in the “Confederate Corner” radio show each and every Wednesday night on Conservative Daily News . Following are some simple facts about George, in his own words:

I was born in 1976 and raised in Pennsylvania.

I am the first of my family to be raised outside of the mountains of West Virginia & Maryland.

My ancestors and family members have fought in ever war since the American Revolution.

I have provided service to the community as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician with over 20 years’ experience in both fields.

I carry a Glock 27, it’s my American Express card, I don’t leave home without it.

I am a loud mouth, Copenhagen chewing, beer drinking, God fearing, American.

My heroes are the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

My Confederate Army:

I refer to my listeners as my Confederate Soldiers. Much like the Confederate Army of old we are working to save America and defend the Constitution. Because of lies many people don’t know the truth about the War of Northern Aggression and blame it on slavery. The Confederate Army was defending the Constitution of the United States and believed in States Rights, something a government of the North was trying to take away.

If you want to continue to blame the war on slavery consider this; the War of Northern Aggression was from 1861-1865. In January of 1863 President Lincoln issued an Executive Order known as the Emancipation Proclamation proclaiming the freedom of slaves in 10 states. This is when the North made slavery an issue. Prior to 1863, the war was about a greedy and controlling government in Washington D.C.

Like today we are fighting a greedy and controlling government in Washington D.C. that has no regard for the Constitution that was written by the Founding Fathers of our great nation. America was once a nation of strong and proud people. Today many Americans want everything for free and it’s not about what we can do to make America better but what can America do to make our lives easier.

The greatest generation to live was those that fought and supported the war effort during World War II because when the war came to America everyone rolled up their sleeves and went to work. Today many Americans don’t care about the threats to America including our own government.

My fellow Americans, those that love this country and miss the old America; it is time we join together and become one, an army that defends America from those wishing to destroy her. We must rise up and united as one to save America. The Constitution of our great nation opens with the words, “We the People” because we the people are America and only we the people can save America from a certain death.

Where I stand on the issues:

I am a Pro-gun / Pro 2nd Amendment supports that believes the American Constitution is still the law of the land.

I believe American doesn’t do enough to support our troops that defend our country. Our military and their families need much more than what they get.

I believe the government should stay out of area of abortion; it is not their decision to make.

I believe in random drug testing for welfare.

I believe the welfare system in America is broken and needs fixed, no more supporting generations of families.

National healthcare is not the answer, healthcare reform is.

I believe and support the death penalty; if you commit murder then you will pay with your life.

I believe that the states should have more control of themselves and less involvement from the politicians in Washington D.C.

America needs to secure the borders; any and all illegal immigrants must be collected up and deported back to the country they came from. No questions asked.

We must make English the official language of America.

There must be reform in the American education system, America’s public school system is failing and we must get rid of the “No child left behind programs”. These programs do the exact opposite; students are being pushed ahead before they are ready to.

Desecration of the American Flag should be a crime.

American needs to stop giving money away to countries that have questionable relations with America. We need to take a hard look at our foreign aid policies and start making cuts.

The leading race baiters in America are many of the politicians and the media here in America.

Soldier Salute:

As I said earlier America’s soldiers are my heroes. That is why each week on Confederate Corner I do a Soldier Salute honoring a member of our military because of everything they give up to defend our freedoms.
